Epi Valve Junior, or Blackheart Little Giant, you will be much happier with your tone if you get a small tube amp then a big solid state amp that sounds bad.

I love my Peavey Bandit. Its amazing but I've never played a fender frontman so can't compare the two.

The Fender has two 12" speakers and a few more watts on the Peavey. If you like natural overdrive/distortion though I'd imagine the Peavey has an edge as their transtube circuits offer more gain. Both seem to offer pretty good value for the money though @ 300 - 350.00!
Moving on.....

unless you are gigging at a non-miced venue a small tube amp such as the ones Funkymonkz suggested.

I picked Bandit before I realized the other option for same price. Since a Bandit is $390USD, I'd go Peavey Valveking for $400.

Not if TS gets one used. They run for about $150 for the older ones which in my opinion are fantastic. $150 ~ 80 Euros?

I would look up the Peavey Vypyr series. If it interests you, I would wait until they come out (I think early sept. for the SS models) and see if it sucks or if they'll be as cool as I hope they'll be.
