yeah, better amp, and switch the electronics and maybe pickups (if you like the guitar). if not, once you get a better amp, just save up for a better guitar.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

nonono! The most important thing is that you need to get away from thinking that good tone and digitech distortion stompbox is in the same sentence. You just need a good amp. What is your budget?
Guitars:
-Schecter C-7 Hellraiser
-Ibanez MTM2
Amplifiers and Cabinets:
-Peavey StudioPro
-Randall RH50T Head
-Behringer 4x12 cab
Pedals:
-Ibanez WD-7 Wah
-Boss SD-1
-MXR 10 Band Equalizer

7-String guitars are badass!

Better amp. Im thinking you have a small practice amp, or something SS, so save up some money and get a good smal all-tube combo.
#7
i'd say get a better amp, then a better guitar. but thats because i dont think warlocks are any good. useful as a weapon in a cinch? yes. good tone? no.
#8
warlock usefull as a good weapon lol. true..

yes i jus have a practice amp.

will $200-300 get me a good one??or should i save up some more??

thnx

i agree with the better amp, but your going to want to get a better guitar, preferably not a BC rich unless a used one from the 80's.

^you could get a valve junior, but if you have a bc rich, i dont think your a blues player...

i'm guessing you're after metal tones?

I'm gonna get flamed for this but if you like metal, go for one of the Line 6 Spider amp series.
Apparently they're only good for metal, which in your case would be perfect. I tried one and i liked it, far better than a practice amp at least.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.

Good advice, imo. My used 80's Warlock revenge sounds great on a Cube 20X and has the metal distortion built in, among other things. It was about $150, new.

for classic metal, i'd probably get a roland cube 30, maybe a vox valvetronix (on a budget). stretch a bit more and a peavey windsor might be worth considering.
