I'm downloading a video (torrents) and the file says .hdtv.avi.
Does that mean I have to have some sort of HD monitor to watch it, or does it just mean that the quality is higher?

Thanks.

if it's HD that means it's a higher resolution so the edges may be cut off when you play it if your monitor isn't running at that or a greater resolution.

That's what i thought, but I didn't want to download it then not be able to play it because my monitor is HD.

Thanks.
