what styles-fusion and shred/metal
who do you listen to-guthrie govan, greg howe, vai, petrucci, satch, gilbert ect...
i can get the valveking 112 for 400 even. now i was wondering...should i get the 212 100 watter valveking.also for large gigs maybe a few hundred people will the 112 50 watt valveking cut it? its tube so...but just to make sure. also i will have a extra 126 bucks to spend on a od pedal or something....what od pedal do you guys recommend?
thanks

The VKs OK. Get the 112 the 212 is a waste of money.

The VK is probally the best amp in that price range for those styles. I just dont like the way it sounds. You might be able to find a 5150 for about 600$

How heavy of an amp do you need? Like death metal? Or like thrash, or shred?

The VK should be good for your needs, but you could do better. Maybe the B-52 212 combo.
