So I've still gotta work on my legato, string-skipping, and alternate picking. Basically I gotta start from the ground up again haha. But anywho I've been practicing the sweep from Hester Prynne and was wondering if it's a good exercise to you guys that should get me started in sweeping . Doesn't seem too hard I just can't speed this bitch up, but that's probably because this is my first sweep attempt ever.

D|---------13h17-13---------
A|-------15--------15-------
F|-----14------------14-----
C|---15----------------15---
G|-17--------------------17-
C|--------------------------

I think starting on 3-4 string sweeping is better, but what ever works for you.

well, if you were in standard tuning it would just be a minor arpeggio sweep. But if you are playing in that weird tuning, im not sure whats going on there

edit: to below, okay, I did not recognize the drop C, still a minor then!
Gibson SG Standard
Ibanez S2170FB
Peavey JSX
Marshall 1960A
TEXAS A&M
