I have a white gibson explorer and just barely got my first dent in it. it may have just barely gotten to the wood. That got me thinking. The white color has some wear on it and i might want it refinished in the future. Would I be able to get it refinished to a color like this guitar?

would I be able to still have nitrocellulose? is nitrocellulose a good finish? What is the best?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
