I'm looking to buy the Edge FX bridge that's on the Mick Thomson guitar. I can't find it anywhere, is there even a way to buy it without gutting a Mick Thomson guitar?

try ibanezrules.com?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

i just had a quick look... they seem to have a fixed lo-pro edge?

are you sure the bridge will fit in your guitar?

I'm building a custom guitar, so I can rout the body to accept the bridge.

^^ oh, ok. as i said, they seemed to have a fixed lo-pro edge, which (presumably) is more or less the same thing. would be best to contact rich at ibanez rules to make sure, though.

I'm a bit curious as to why you would want a double locking fixed bridge guitar.
Seems a bit redundant, being that theres a wonderful thing called locking tuners invented.
Gear:
Ibanez RG550 20th RFR
Traynor YCV50
Fender FMT HH Tele
Mesa Boogie 2ch Triple Rectifier
2 1x12 custom Theile cabs
ISP Decimator
Krank Kranshaft
Boss BF-2 Flanger
BBE Sonic Maximizer

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
