i have a little fender practice amp. Wanted to hook up a pair of headphones into the headphone jack so i dont bother the neighbors with the noise at night. What kind of adapter/cable do i need to hook up a normal pair of headphones like you might use with an ipod to the jack on the amp?
I know i'm new and this is a stupid question but id appreciate the help just the same. Probally need to buy this off ebay as i dont have a guitar shop nearby.
thanks

^ that. i usually buy mine at radioshack, it just looks like the end of the plug w/out the cord. btw don't buy the cheap plastic and metal ones they suck, just get one thats all metal.
Just because I play the drums doesn't mean I suck at guitar, or ams that I's iz stoopidz.

A 1/4" to 1/8" will do the trick. You dont have to buy them from a guitar shop, lots of electronics stores have them.
