Alright check it out, what if I put a Seymour Duncan SH-6 in the bridge of my guitar, and an SH-2 in the neck? How would that sound? I like metal, but I also want a warm bluesy sound, then a I want a hard rock sound, then I want a shreddy sound. So what does UG think?

oh and the guitar is made of mahogany

you still wont notice much of a difference, and your amp isn't really voiced for metal. But get what ever you want, it's your money. In a case that you have a good amp, they would be good pups.

However the Duncan Custom 5 is a better bet than either of the pickups in the OP.
