it just has this great riff in it. just a little chromatic thing like

E-1-2-3-4

its been annoying me for quite some time

i just searched him on here for tabs and looked at every song and none were it.

do you remember the vocal hook? That would be really helpful.

sorry man..thats no help..

When hip-hop producers started mixing synthesizers with scaled based
looped beats...it really took off.

Just about all of it is chromatic runs.
Jay-z has had a lot of instrumentals that would sound cool on guitar...

*Feeling it*..<--- I really think its this one...

Eh man..that is a very generic riff in hiphop...although
it reminds me of something busta rhymes would do..

he likes to rap on top of actual bass riffs..here are two
i used to listen to with the same rhythm..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1chIpba4yQ4&feature=related (put your hands) has a very similar riff to what u recorded..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcThB_XK-p0 (give me some more)..nice bassline
