alright guys, the bridge pickup on my new schecter c1 elite looks a bit high. it's mounted in the normal pickup ring type things seen on most guitars, with the 6 screws... 4 in the corners, and 2 in the middle. I tried turning the middle screws, but the pickup doesn't move, unlike all my other guitars. is that a bit dodgy?

Hmmm... Maybe you're turning it the wrong way?

Try to do it while pressing down the pickup. Does it feel loose btw?

haha, I have turned it both ways... I'm clever like that. it doesn't budge at all, and there seems to be no movement in the pickup at all if you press down on it either. I'm guessing there aren't any screws in the mounting?

That's weird... the 2 screws on the sides of the pickup (right in the middle to each side) are meant to do that.

All i can think is that maybe it has to be adjusted from the inside.

The screw pot under the ring might be broken.
