So im suping up my crappy fender stratocaster guitar kit guitar, and i already have an EMG select Humbucker in the bridge. And my next customizaton is going to be another humbucker in the neck. I'm gonna be playing all metal, grunge, and hard rock on this guitar(metallica, nirvana, guns n roses), and i dot no if i should get the EMG81 or the Seymour Duncan Blackout.

you can't use actives with passive pickups
edit:let me rephrase that, you shouldn't use active with passive pickups. (you can but its not a good idea)

I've got active and passives wired together, sounds great. But it also cost a few dollars to get installed.

I haven't used Blackouts but the 81 is a solid pup. Sorry I can't help ,uch.
