Well it's a working title, but tell me what you think of the lyrics! Oh, and don't comment on the "flow", because it works fine the way I sing it.

Sorry Romero

thunder clouds at 9pm, the typical slugline
all the doors are locked, so i should be fine
i am watching friends in my living room all alone
suddenly a news flash and the ringing of a phone
the news reporter warns everyone to stay in side
lock the doors, bar the windows, everybody hide
apparently a virus has just been released
causing the rising of the recently deceased
ZOMBIES!

scared to death of the invasion, i begin to grab my gun
it shoots so loud it could wake the dead, pardon the pun
then i load it up because i hear a knocking on the door
my is heart beating so fast, and the rain begins to pour
i open that door slowly and i see a walking corpse
at first he looks real hungry but then his face- it warps
he tells me how he doesn't even want to eat my brains
he just wants a way to clean his clothes of blood stains
PLOT TWIST!

"i just want some bleach" he says, "nothing more.
please don't be afraid of me just open your door
all of us zombies are really just so bored
we all just want some "living space" for our undead horde
now that i'm no longer buried, i'll probably get a job
and be a hard working american, by the way i'm Rob"
so i give him some detergent while in complete awe
this guy sure can talk, considering he's got no jaw
IRONY!

the next few months seem to fly by oh so fast
i witness a clearing of the future and blurring of the past
all the undead migrants find work at all our stores
they are more than willing to do all of our chores
instead of robots or mexicans to do all of our jobs
we'll have a zombie army, thousands of Rob's
we won't have to pay them, dead men don't have rights
and we have our chain saws if they decide to put up fights
EXPLOITATION!

Thats real fun man. I don't have much time to do a full crit right now, but I'll probably come back to it.

It's definitely a cool concept though, and executed pretty well also.

And I see you live in Hopewell Junction. I used to live in Poughkeepsie.
