Sometimes, yes. Especially high school movies, which make me realize that I don't have very many friends who are always popping around to hang out, or who seem to always be available to do things.

I'm not good at watching movies. I can't sit still for that long. But, yes, I do often feel that way after watching movies.

Me to because the only good bit was when Donnie Darko pissed his pants.

It happens when I read books alot more than with movies.
I read the twilight series and want to kill myself for two reasons,

1. I swore to myself, and anyone within earshot at the time, that I would NEVER read those books,

2. They were probably the best books I have ever read, and I wish I was a ****ing vampire

I get depressed after watching depressing movies... Typically, after well played love stories (even if I'm not that sensitive) or beautiful, epic movies that make you wish you were some kind of hero with a full and exciting life.

But I understand people being depressed after watching high school movies, their idealized vision of the "best years of our life" always make us wish it could be our everyday life... Even if very few people actually get the chance to experience the kind of neverending partying fun they present as teenage reality.

After i watched all of the long way round. Made me realize that I've never ridden on a motorbike and how i never get to do anything like that.

Definitely. Some of them really make me feel like I just totally wasted my high school years.

Some movies (Wanted is my most recent example) make regular life seem extremely boring, which was depressing for a little while.

Yes, I felt like that when I was watching Superman returns, Spiderman 1 2 3, Batman, Rambo and yes(how can i forget) all the movies Chuck Norris stared in!!!
#24
Yeah, definetly do. It's mainly when I watch movies about teenagers living in a big city or whatever because I'm from a fairly small town and it makes me think of what I could be missing out on
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

wow. i've been having these same type of thoughts lately. like how absolutely nothing happens in my life. ever. and i can't help but compare them to hollywood fiction.

this quote came to mind:
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off."

-tyler durden in Fight Club

i know fight club is horribly over-quoted, but i just had to throw this in.

My mind is going. I can feel it.

I watched it yesterday! And it made me feel sad for a bit too lol.

I felt sad after watching Matchstick Men because I got attached to Alison's character and she turned out to be bad
And yes, High School movies make me realise that my life seems to lack romance, excitement and purpose but in reality very few people live like that!!!

I watched Leon The Professional and I felt depressed. I also watched a music video that a fan made for that movie using the song Shape Of My Heart by The Police and it made my stomach churn everytime I hear that song.
