im getting tired of the bad feedback scratchiness of my combo, so soon im going to get the isp decimator but, i was wondering..

after i buy this, do you think a good OD pedal, maybe a tubescreamer or boss super od will tighten my sound enough? or do i need tightening given the 5150's
"gainy" reputation?

the Boss SD-1 is probably a bad choice for you

look at an EQ or a tubescreamer

the MXR 10-band EQ has level and gain controls too, that'll get you lots of extra OD

hmm, an EQ stompbox...
i know that you get what you pay for, and in all fairness, im not trying to be cheap, but ive heard some good things about the danelectro fish n chips eq pedal...
is this worth buying, or just a tubescreamer, becasue well...you really cant go wrong with that

bearing in mind an EQ with gain/level at full and a mid hump basically is a tubescreamer then then the Fish n chips might be a good idea. and if it doesnt cut it then you can get the TS and the EQ will still come in handy
