alright so i have the roland micro cube, small, portable amp. i got it when i started playing guitar last year, and since then ive gotten into alot of thrash and metal. unforutnatley, its getting worn out from constant everyday playing and im not getting the sound im looking for anymore which sucks

so now i want a bigger stronger amp that can take my beating XD

Don't listen to this guy. Spiders III's suck ass, and are horridly over priced.

Take a look at the Vox ADVT series.

Try searching craigslist everyday. You would be surprised what you can get for $200. Keep your options wide and open. I see VK's for $225-250 from time to time. And it's a decent amp, especially for $225. Good luck.
