Hi UG

Im looking to replace the current pickups on my guitar. I listen to a lot of Radiohead and Muse and thats what I like to play. I know Johnny Greenwood uses Lace Sensors and Matt Bellamy uses Seymour Duncan and Kent Armstrong pickups. Should I chose one of these or is there a seperate brand that would suffice for both?

Thanks in advance.

Ahh k. So the Alnico Classics are fine?

PAFs are wicked versitile.

depending on which brand you like, itll either be the SD '59 or the DM PAF Pro.

do you like your guitar? how it feels, how it plays?

^how much money could you spend?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

i really like my guitar. it plays fairly well and the design is comfortable.
as far as money goes i can probably spend around 200 on pickups. i just looked at the '59s you mentioned and GC sells them for 73$ so i could afford those

I can probably spend about 200-300 on an amp. The Raven isn't really mine, my friend is letting me use it while he is away at military school.
