...are sweet. To be honest, there is really nothing special at all about them, except that they know how to crank out a feel-good rock song one after another. That and they are Canadian, which is why I'd guess not too many people here will have heard of them. Anyone here a fan? I have all 3 albums, and there latest (No Time for Later) shows that they just keep getting better.

I've haven't heard of them, but not because they're Canadian (I swear... ).

But what album would you recommend I listen to first?

Probably No Time for Later (their latest) or Den of Thieves, their second. Their first album I think suffers from not having the same recording quality as these two albums, probably due to the fact they were not well known and therefore probably did not have the funds they do now to record. Really any of their albums are great, but personally I'd go for either of the two I mentioned, you really can't go wrong.

And to cerveza, they really are quite spectacular live, I was an average fan until I saw them open up for Robert Plant a few years ago. It was just when they released Den of Thieves and they opened with Makin' Sunshine, and when their vocalist hit that high note in the chorus (I'm right on time)I became a big fan.

I actually enjoy the lower budget recording of some albums over the more overly produced re-recording and mixing, but I'll see what we have available around here...
