Hey guys, just wondering if you can help me out, im trying to find some MELODIC death bands that play in dropped tuning(any drop tunings), not as in standard C, as in DROP something.

I know the Duskfall does, so does the old in flames and some recent dark Tranquility songs. Any others?

most modern metal is in drop...whether it's a half step (protest), drop c (aild), drop d (tool, EVERY NU METAL BAND[please note tool is not nu metal])... i think you get the idea.

Yeah, I get the idea. You don't have the first fucking clue what you're on about, is that the gist of it?

That's not a drop tuning, that's just down tuning.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

Search for Artefact.

Into eternity
post-clayman In Flames (I think, maybe just post CC)
Arsis

Eeeeerrr, that's all I can honestly think of for now. Try playing some Nile, they do have egyptian melodies, but their sound is way too technical death metal to be considered melodeath.

Oh, some tab of "Beginning of the end" was in like, drop d, so I just kinda blindly guessed they played in drop tuning.
