Anyone familiar with these... From "The Presidents of the United States of America." The bassitar is two strings tuned to C# and D# and the guitbass is three tuned to C# D # and C# an octave up. They are guitars but the strings are bass... Is that why their tone is so bassy and rich?

look at wikipedias listing for POTUSA... im too lazy to get a link but according to that and several other sites there is no guitar (no more than 5 strings combined actually) in POTUSA.. crazy
