I've been in the market for a 12 string for a while now, and I just stumbled upon this Seagull: http://www.geartree.com/pc-3745-83-seagull-coastline-s12-cedar-12-string-acoustic-guitar.aspx

How does it look? Is this a quality brand? Mostly importantly, will this guitar last me my entire life? I've heard 12 strings have a short lifespan.

If taken care of properly, they will last forever; like any guitar.
Sincerely, Chad.

This is the exact guitar I have. I love it and will not be getting rid of it. I've only had it for about a year but it has definitely proven itself to be a high-quality guitar with beautiful sound and great durability (12-strings are great with rhythm so it's gotten a beating from me...). I can't even say enough good things about it.

Please, please, please make sure you play this before you buy another. At least then you can be sure whether or not it is the right guitar for you.

I'd rather post a chat up line with an escape route in case it starts going wrong.

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

*girl looks unimpressed*

"Because it looks like you landed on your face."
