But im a bit of a theory noob and cant find or get any chords to go with it for the verse

haha that's the same kind of thought path i went through. i didn't notice it at first, then when i played the E5, changed them all the powerchords...hehe. it does sound exactly like enter sandman, so make sure you have a completely different rhythm.

Well my bass player wrote it for a bass intro, im pretty sure he doesnt like metallica, ive never heard him listen to them. It doesnt really sound like it after having a listen, its a different tempo and rhym pattern
