Well, I just recently trudged through this Socialist pile of filth and I'm stuck on a question. Over the summer, I had to read this for my English class and write 4 pages over it, answering a question with each page. 3 of the questions I can answer myself, but I need help with one of them. The question is a 'Media Connection.' As stated on the paper:

2. Media Connection: A media connection asks you to compare the story to others that you may be familar with through reading or other means. Literature is often based on or "borrowed" from other places. You could compare the novel to other stories, plays, novels, poems, movies, TV shows, or songs. In the responses you should point out any substantial you might see and support your assertions with evidence from the text. Make sure your connections are specific and significant.

Any help is appreciated, since this is due tomorrow.
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

Compare it the the Jungle Book. Not the Disney version, but the original. Both used the jungle as a metaphor for survival.

By using the jungle as metaphor, Sinclair suggests that those who attempt to succeed through capitalist means are not "the fittest" but instead are the most corrupt.

EDIT: If memor serves, The Jungle Book was written in 1896, only ten years before The Jungle, strengthening a claim that a relationship exists.

compare it to pokemon.

You see, the problem with most comedians is that they lose their lust. A lot of them resort to repeating jokes or even taking them from another person and adding a small embellishment.
I've got to hand it to you though, youare always fresh. I always look forward to your posts, knowing that I can count on something new and original.

Don't give a fuck about being sigged anymore, it's happened plenty of times. I'm sick of stupid humor and dumbasses who think they're clever because they give a dull and dim-witted response that has no relevance or use to the topic at hand. Nobody's amused.

Compare it to Fast Food Nation, an excellent piece of modern muckraking that exposes the ethically dubious practices of the fast food industry.

Alright I need more. I've only filled up about a third of the page.
