Yes, it will be a new guitar day when I get one but I need to decide on one first!

Budget : 700 euros. Would go to 1000 at extreme push.

Tones I need (in order) : Metal, Nice Cleans, Rock, every other low gain sound.

What I'd like from the Guitar itself :
Superstrat shape
Neck Thru
SD JB and Jazz pick-ups.
Preferably a Hard tail but I'll block up a Floyd if needs be
Comes in white
Can handle .012 guage strings
No tone controls
Just one volume
And can shred like a mofo.

Gentlemen and ladies, please recommend me a guitar that comes close.

Ibanez RG

Jackson Dinky

Those are what come to mind.

ESP and Schecter are brands that come up in mind... but not sure about specific model. If you know exactly what specs to get, why not save up more and get something custom made?

Hm, I don't think many guitars come without a tone control any more. anyway, you could get some kind of ESP/Jackson/Schecter. I think that you would like the C-1 Blackjack, and just disconnect the tone control.
Current Gear:
LTD MH-400 with Gotoh GE1996T (EMG 85/60)
PRS SE Custom 24 (Suhr SSH+/SSV)
Ibanez RG3120 Prestige (Dimarzio Titans)
Squier Vintage Modified 70s Jazz V
Audient iD22 interface
Peavey Revalver 4, UAD Friedman BE100/DS40
Adam S3A monitors

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I just bought that ATX-FR like a month ago. I just found out today that the shipper lost it in the mail and they just shipped me a new one. Only thing I don't like is the bolt inlay but I'll live

1992 Ibanez S540 sol
1988? Kramer Pacer Mutt
