if it's 3q triplets and 4/16

__3_
q-q-q--s-s-s-s

Then it's 3/4.

If it's 3 x 3q triplets and 4/16

__3_ __3_ __3__
q-q-q--q-q-q--q-q-q--s-s-s-s

then it's 7/4.

i'm really sorry, but i have another one, and i didn't want to waste space with another thread. in this measure, it's a dotted quarter note, and then five tripelets, which are all quarter notes again.

5 x 3q triplets or 5 single quarter triplet-notes (aka 2 x 3q triplets - 1)?

First case would be 4/4 + 4/4 + 7/8, or 23/8

Second case, if you have to have it all in one measure, only choice that adds up is something like 39/32 (which is just weird I guess)
