Lately, I haven't been able to come up with any new material. I keep falling into the same pattern. I haven't come up with a decent riff for a month (I used to come up with an OK one at least once a week). Is there a way to break free?

I saw somebody ask this in an interview with Dan Donegan I think, but he generally said to play anything. Explore outside the key signature, try new time signatures, new chords, wrong notes, anthing!

And to Chair, reported.
