it goes from the head, to the device, and into the cabinet, so you can turn you amp to 11 and the device reduces the volume so you can get the best overdrive

Mine was amazing.... when it worked.


Turns out i had a defect from the shop, emailed ted, i sent it back and hes building a new one right now!

That would be an "attenuator," allowing you to crank the amp for all that wonderful tube overdrive but reduce the power of the signal to the speaker.

There are a few...THD Hotplate is one... Power Brake is another and the Weber Mass is yet another...

I have a Mass 100 that i run through a 60 watt amp.

But this friday i wont have the fender and will have a 50 watt Mesa DC-5!!
