o.k. i lhave a friend with a b.c. rich bronze mockingbird. my guitar is broken so i jump at every chance to go play it. it has a single humbucker and a single volume and no tone controls. it has a pretty complex looking bridge. it is a hardtail one, so it stays in tune pretty good. but after awhile i realized it was too good! it couldnt be a regular bridge! he got it about 2 years ago, let me play it about a year and a half ago so i tuned it and stared to play the beginners anthem smoke on the water (we were both amazed at the time!) i played it again about 2 months ago, and it was still in pretty good tune! only slightly off, and keep in mind that my friend has never learned to play anything other than smoke on the waters' intro on a single string, and never even learned how to tune it, so i was impressed with it. also, those were the strings that came with the guitar! i was wary to play them, but they stayed in tact for about 2 more weeks before i broke the A. i quickly told him i would replace the string. when i got out a new string and tried to replace it, it just slipped out of the slot! i picked up the dead string that had been thrown on the floor, and it didnt have a ball end. it looked more like a tiny barrel. can anyone tell me what kind of string is this? thanks

that would be a bullet series or something like that one of these:
squier bullet
fender bullet
Shred Head
All that theory my guitar teacher tries to drill into my head just gets buried under piles of porn and I never manage to apply any of it
