so im using it to boost my tube amp of course, but im wondering which setting to place it on...

i know ill have to fiddle around to get the tone i want but...do i keep my amps pregain at 4? and which controls on the pedal will i boost? tone, level, drive?

im wanting that good metalcore sound with great harmonics, cutting palmmutes, & good, clear riffs

Boost level, keep gain on 0, adjust tone to preference

by gain, you mean keep the pedals drive at 0?

Level: all the way
Tone: all the way
Drive: 7 o clock
Turn your mids way down on your amp, your bass to 12 o clock and your treble to 10 o clock. Thats as close as I think you can get.

ok, thanks! im assuming also that this is the easiest way to get a good driven metal tone out of the amp using this pedal?

by adjusting pedal tone & my amps pregain to preference?

You could also add a bit of gain from the OD, just in case you might want some more.

5150 has MORE than enough gain.

Just do what the guy up there ^ said.

Put your gain at 0 or 1 and boost your level all the way up pretty much.

then fiddle with tone knob till you get desired sound.
