hi all, tell me yours opinions for a new amp,i play black metal and i want an amp for practice and litle lives.

Sorry, I'm not too familiar with Black Metal. What is that close too genre wise.

My guess is that the Bandit and the Cube may not do gigging well but I don't know. The Vypyr isn't out yet so I have NOT seen too many reviews. I'm suggesting the Randall.

Or - maybe a Valveking/Bugera/B52. I take it you have a budget? What is available to you thar in Greece? Would you buy used gear?

Edited.

Depends what wave of black metal you like I suppose. Early Burzum stuff was done on some random Peavey I believe, and maybe some fuzz pedals. It's not really what you play on, but how it's recorded. To get that real first-second wave sound, intentional low quality recording is what it's all about. Sadly I can't give advice on which of those amps to use, i'm not all that educated yet on how they sound. Have you tried them all out in the past?

well i can say the Bandit is not worth buying at all. i had a Peavey bandit back in 1995 and it was a piece then, and i have heard they sound even worse cause of that whole "transtube" thing.

im not a fan of the Roland Cube.

i like the randall stuff for sure

never heard of the peavey Vypr. whats that?

for black metal it doesn't matter what you play on dude.

But i think the Randall will suit you best, you still haven't given a budget though.

Out of those the Randall but you could probably do better if you would just give us a budget.

absolutely.

well, before I put my foot in my mouth - my guess is that the Classic Clean channel would work with your POD. The amp has 1-12AT7 tube and 16 digital effects so = Hybrid.

found this description:
Power Amp: Valve-Dynamic Tube/MOSFET Hybrid

my guess is yes, but maybe someone else can validate.
