im stumped on what to do next. i took itsrock77's idea and got inspired by seven years - saosin (amazing btw), but i cant figure out what to do next...

Oh **** man, that sounds awful.
I get the idea of what you're trying to do, but it feels like you didn't get it out properly.

And it seems like you can't keep the bass in the same scale :S
Or guitar two for that matter.

With the intro/verse thing, the open D to 8th fret usually sounds good, but it doesn't work for this. And again, I know the idea of what you're trying to do.

And the chorus.
There's so much stuff happening that it hurts
The guitar strumming pattern doesn't work very well either.
And the lead thing is baddddd.

Hmm.

I think you should fix everything up before you continue with this piece.
Sorry, but it's an honest opinion.

Also, Seven Years is a great song.

i think im going to put it in c minor. its easier that way. i just need to figure out a lead to put over the chorus....

Amazing works for me.

yeah, the chorus riff really needs to be altered, although if you move it up or down the neck to be in key it should work great. good luck
