So I just reformatted my computer and found this app that came with my motherboard for controlling fan speeds and monitoring temperatures and stuff, My processor is a Intel Pentium D 3.0 and without any control on the fan at idle my CPU is around 47 degrees Celsius at 3040 RPM on the fan, this is at idle and the fan gets much faster while playing games.

My question is if anyone here knows a good app for controlling fan speed, I want to be able to set a minimun speed that the fan can be at (Say 2300 RPM at idle instead of 3040, because it keeps the fan quiet and keeps the CPU at a reasonable temperature, but I also want the fan to realize when the CPU is working harder that it needs to be faster, but Is it possible to set a maximum RPM too?

Thanks.
