Go to youtube and type in bad horsie live at the astoria, steve does some crazy **** with his guitar... i decided i would try it at practice when my amp got unplugged randomly, you know, keep the energy up. It didnt really work out.

i've seen that, its pretty sweet some of the things he does, HURRAY FOR MONKEY GRIPS!!! =]
#11
I know! ALAS my sg does not have a monkey grip, so i guess i put too much weight on the strap or somthing. The actual plastic clips shattered.
#12
Holy ****!

EDIT: I think my face just melted a bit.
While looking at a guitar magazine with some friends.

Don't you understand the importance of correct spelling and grammar? It's the online symbol of maturity. And you as sure as hell don't have that.
#14
Fuckin' shit why the hell did you even try with an SG?

He's laughing at YOU.
You better click that bastard.

dude, you'd be crazy to do something like that on a primary guitar when you aren't a bazillionaire like Vai and can afford multiples... hell, i'm afraid to do the thing where you spin a guitar around in a circle... like, around the body... i don't think i'm explaining it well, but i'm terrified to even try it with my RG, and i've got the Cliplok straps too.

Me neither, due to him not being alive and all.

Alright, Steve Vai wins the "F***ing weirdest guitarist i've ever seen" award.
And don't try that with an SG, or anything that you don't want to be hurt for that matter.
#18
Youve never seen this sg then, its a gibson faded special and ive played it for so long its got dents all over it. I can whip it over my head no problem but ive never really done THE DANCE before.

holy jesus, I would never do that dance even with a beat up squier!

Me either.

Not because I'm afraid of damaging the guitar, I'm more afraid of hurting myself or others due to my lack of coordination. :p
