it should work, but i'm not sure how much space there is in a tele for the battery.
look up the Jim Root Signature guitar
Now officially has too much gear to list

PM me if you want to know about my recording setup

Just buy the Jim Root signature Fender.

as long as the neck is comfortable to you, it'd probably be fine. from what i've been told, emg pickups tend to give any guitar that emg sound. you might have issues with some upper fret access. and get a model that already has humbuckers so you don't have to route the body.

if you want a great guitar that can play metal, why not look into jackson, esp, schecter, etc?
im sure they'll have guitars that feel right to you...
not to mention they'll come with hardwares and constructions better suited for metal

Jusst buy a John 5 sig tele or a Jim Root Tele.

If you're too cheap for either, just buy a tele and drop a hotrails in the bridge.

Fender Jazz Bass 'Crafted in Japan'
Yamaha Acoustic Guitar
Vox AD30VT w/ VFS2

EMGs? In a Tele?

MADNESS!

madness???

this...is...SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

There's better choices than an EMG-loaded alder tele for a metal guitar, unless you specifically want things to be uber-bright. The Jim Root mdel has a mahogany body so it'll handle the EMGs a lot better.

Tele's are a proper man's guitar though - far more badass than any of those pointy things you can get.
Actually called Mark!
