my local music shop is selling it and i really like the look and sound of it on clean, im not sure if it can handle distortion well tho, so i would like your opinions on it

it is a washburn hb-30



so reminds me of the gibson and epiphone

How much distortion are you thinking of. Semi-hollows can usually go up to about hard rock, but after that, they'll really feed back. It depends on the guitar too though. Some handle gain better than others.

As for that particular guitar, I've never been able to play it but I've heard good things and Washburn is definetely an underrated brand.
