I know this may have been ask LOADS of times...

But my mate is thinking of learning to play bass and wants to know what a decent bass is for under £200

I suggested a Squier P-Bass but as a guitarist I'm not really sure!

Anything that he would be better off buying?

Thanks

If you want a squier, get the vintage modified series. You could also look into Ibanez because they make good beginner basses as well.

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.
