Hey,
I got sick of the fret buzz on my strat when I would pick hard, so I raised the action today. Now, the fret buzz is all gone, and I reset the intonation, but I found that even at the maximum settings at each bridge saddle (like, the 3 thickest strings are screwed all the way to the bridge, and the 3 thinnest are screwed almost all the way out), the intonation is still a bit off. Not like way off, but enough to be annoying.
So, what would I do to remedy this? I really don't want to lower the action to where it was before, because it did have quite annoying fret buzz. Would I have to try a different gauge of strings, or is it because my strings are a bit old?
I'm using a set of .11-.50 strings at the moment.

Thanks!
Call me Wes.

Alright.
Do you think I should go down a gauge, or do you think a new set of .11-.50's would do alright?
But I do plan on getting a few sets to try out.

i would stay the same gauge or go higher, if you want.

just swap one string at a time, and buy an extra spring for the trem cavity.

it'll keep the same bend or bend more.
then you'll be able to lower your action without buzz.

go lighter on the strings, and ur neck will straighten out more and you'll get buzz.

Alright.
But my main problem is intonation, should that help correct it?
