I pulled out my G-400 which hasn't been touched in probably 5 years, recently... The bridge pickup is aftermarket -- It's a Seymour Duncan, but I have NO clue what I put in there. I love the sound of it though... warm, vintagey is the only way I can describe it. Anyway, I want to replace the neck pickup now also. Can I put any SD pickup in, as long as it fits and sounds good?

Well, I'd like to still use it as a rhythm pickup since my other one works great for the lead stuff I enjoy playing. A thick, hard rock sound would be preferable.

you can look at the model of the bridge pickup. there should be a name at the back of the pickup.
Ibanez RG321MH (Air Classic/Tone Zone)
Fernandes Telecaster (Twang King/stock bridge pickup)
Blackstar HT-20 (Scumback 55 speaker/ Tung Sol tubes)
TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Lava Cables Clear Connect, Soar and Mini ELC

maybe go for a Full Shred or 59.

You have a HOT CH 57 (G) pickup in the neck, if that helps.

Lol, I took the pickups out of mine once, to see.

Duncan Jazz or 59 are the obvious choices, or perhaps a Dimarzio Breed to be a bit left field.
