It could be the Crybaby doesn't have the range to wah past the 12th fret

or:

It could be that since there isn't enough actual change in freq. boosting, it doesn't make that 'wah' sound.

You know how a wah works by accentuating different freq's right?

If there isn't enough freq's to accentuate, and make a change, it won't make a 'wah' sound.

EDIT: If that made any sense.

i have a similar problem with a dunlop sw-95 slash wah. the wah when playin after the 12th fret in the higher e and b strings is barely perceptible
