You can't be successful in Jazz music until you're at least 40. You don't have anything to say.

As for me, I used to think you got a girl pregnant by sleeping naked in the same bed as her (no contact whatsoever), or by peeing down her throat.

cuz ppl hate how power metal they are cuz they think its "gay" or w.e, which is immature and dirogitory

30 seconds to mars' Beautiful Lie album is mostly in 1/2 step, other than a few songs. AFI does some stuff in 1/2 step, most of Decemberunderground is i think.
#17
megadeth - entire youthanasia album

van halen - err'thang

metallica- they play shows in lower tuning now because they think they can salvage a few more points with the metal crowd since they've lost most of their metaal points in the last decade
#18
All of AFI's songs on Decemberunderground and Sing the Sorrow with the exception of The Leaving Song Pt 1

I think trying to make a list of all the songs in Eb tuning is pretty pointless. There are thousands of them.

Everything on the following Green Day albums: Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac

Take off When I Come Around, because it's on Dookie.

The following Green Day songs: Suffocate, You Lied, Don't Want to Fall in Love, Tired of Waiting for You, Da Da Da, On the Wagon, Castaway, Misery, Waiting, Macy's Day Parade, The Ballad of Wilhelm Fink, J.A.R.

AFI - Miss Murder. I think the rest of that album is a half step down too, but I don't have it so I don't know.

Don Gibson - Oh Lonesome Me

Kick Out the Jams (the album) - MC5

American Psycho (album) - The Misfits

War (album) - U2

It's a Girl! (album) - Sweet Baby (I don't think this band is popular enough for the list)
#20
Ozzy-Miracle Man
Slayer-Entire Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss albums (not sure about the rest)
All SRV
All Hendrix
All Yngwie
All GnR
Black Sabbath-All Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules albums

The entire "mellon collie and the infinite sadness" album by smashing pumpkins was done half a step down.

I think the only exception to this is the song "Beautiful", which is played half step down but with a capo at the first fret.

I could be wrong, though.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

1979 - Smashing Pumpkins

Great song, fun to play.

A lot of their other stuff is half a step down too.

Its not about the Radio its about talent, the front man has a bigger vocal range than Micheal Jackson and he can sing from heavey metal to high pitched ...No.12 on the top 20 under rated guitarists of ALL TIME...etc

What about songs that are in standard tuning on the records, but half step down live? Hendrix would do that ****.

Half step down isn't a very dramatic tuning change that needs to be practiced or anything. Not like DADGAD or an Open tuning. You could play any song half a step down.
#35
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (Entire Album) by The Smashing Pumpkins, Zero's on that one.
#36
I believe blink 182 - miss you is half a step down from standard tuning.

I think he meens this as a list for people who want to play along to a CD or a song that is a half step down, rather than just play it alone.
#38
Van Halen, everything. (I think)

Not just Eruption dude. (I think almost everything is half a step.)

correct, you CAN play any song in standard tuning in down 1/2 step,
but not the other way around. Some songs require this tuning. Try playing "paradise city" in standard. you can't.

and i think you misunderstood me,
i don't intend to "practice this tuning", i just want more songs in this tuning so i don't have to keep re-tuning when practicing. and, its always good to learn some new stuff.

hope that cleared it up.
