I just bought the Boss GE-7 Equalizer and was wondering where should i put it in my chain and what are some good settings for a lead tone/boost?

My setup is Peavey Valveking 212-Boss NS-2-Ibanez Tubescreamer-Crybaby-Schecter S-1 Elite. Where in my chain would the equalizer sound best and have the most effect?
Or would it be best in the amp's effects loop?

Lastly, what were be a base from some good settings? My amp's EQ is at this right now-
Gain-3 w/ tubescreamer
Bass-8
Mids-5-6
Treble-7

Im looking to use this pedal as a slight boost and to give me some more mids to make my solos cut through more. Thanks in advance

For a solo boost, make the curve of the eq like a frowny face mouth(not a big mid boost, just enough to cut through), and put the db boost as far up as it needs to go for the volume you want.

Personal preference really, but I'd put it just above the middle line. Let the db boost add the volume.

you want a boost for solos so up the level

you want more mids

ADD MORE MIDS

ffs you must be pretty retarded if you cant tweak 7 frequency bands to get the sound you know you want

experiment between FX chain and FX loop
