Interesting thing. It seems strongly related to Lovecraft's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" story. And it looks bad... but, I think I saw some award nominations in the beginning.

But then again, is still to come the day when a real big budget film out of a Lovecraft creation.

Still it does not look (and cannot be) as bad as Stuart Gordon's attempts with Dagon (The Shadow Over Innsmouth), Necronomicon and The Dreams In The Witch House.

Oh, and excuse my english....
