Hi,

I've just bought a new (used) guitar. It was made in 1980 (I think) by the Matsumoku factory in Japan. It's the top of the line guitar of the TS series made by Aria Pro II. YES! It's a Aria Pro II TS-600.

Specs:
*Maple Neck-thru
*Ash body wings
*Ebony fratboard, 24 frets
*1Vol, 1Tone, 3-way, phase, 2 coil-cut, booster volume, boost switch, 6-position rotary tone
*Strat-style hardtail bridge, strings through body
*Brass nut

I haven't got it yet, waiting to get it at my local postoffice .

Here's some pics (real guitar pr0n ), and my question to you:
Do you own a Aria Pro guitar?

Make sure to give the seller good feedback on ebay.. we all know humans are just objects after all.

I know it's amazing. The guitar is older than me, AND it's also in better shape than me LOL.

So yes it's the guitar

Which makes it a perfect recording guitar. The only thing missing is a pickup-balance pot or separate vol pots for each pickup so I can go between the pickups from 0-100 % not just 0 to 50/50 to 100.

It looks really nice, how much did it cost?

Well guitars aren't cheap in Sweden .

I payd 4140 sek which is 640,42$.

A new Gibson standard goes for 1429$ in the US but in Sweden we have to pay 2011$

But hey 640,42$ isn't so darn much for this beauty

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

i want audio pronz! seems ridiculously versatile. I have a question:

does it have those 3-way coil split switches which have an extra position for parallel, like the thing ibanez labelled "tri-sound"? And is that 6-way thing a varitone?

Too many questions to ask. these guitars cluttered with switches like that fascinate me.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
