ive been trying to get a good classic rock tone (think led zep acdc like) tone from my setup. i cant decide if it is my fender amp that is not letting me get that heavy or is it my single coils. anyway can strats get classic rock tones given the right amp that are similar to those of a les pauls or sgs (humbuckers)?

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

eh, a pickup change is more of what you need for tones like that but to answer your question yes, the amp can help a little

They can get close, but it won't be exact. Try putting a hot rail in there, it's probably the closest thing other than an actual hb.
