This is the tone I'm searching for, but I'm not sure which amps can give it. Any help?

Don't hate me because I listen to Six Feet Under, but I love their tone in this. It doesn't have their guitarist's crappy tone http://www.youtube.com..oOJVXheNrqs

This tone is pretty rad too, but I dunno if the Engl Powerball sounds this great, the description said the camera added some distortion to it. Any help getting this tone? http://www.youtube.com..Au4PJObpM

Distortion: Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff X 1
Overdrive: MXR Zach Wylde X (as many as you feel like, 1 should be plenty but if you think you need 17 for your gain, fine with me).
Noise Gate: (very important for cutting off the notes and preventing feedback) ISP Decimator

A proper EQ (generally meant for PAs) after the pre-amp but before the power amp should allow you to sculpt out your "mids" with extreme detail.

All of this assumes you're not using a solid state piece of **** for an amp though, which you probably are.

I'm currently playing cleans through a Kustom TRT-100 tube head, and distortion through a Randall MTS head. Both definately not "solid state piece's of ****"

I just curious what amps would give that, as I'm in the market for a new amp
