I was wondering what kind of strings i should get when i buy my fender highway one jazz bass.I was thinking of Earnie Ball 2802 Flat Wound Group 1 strings.55.-110.Will they fit and will they sound good.If not what kind should i get?

flat wounds give you that jazzy kinda tone, so if you like that then those strings would be fine, also rotosound 77's are pretty good, not a flatwound fan myself though

Every bass string will fit into your bass.
And Ernie Ball strings are supposed to be good.
I use them on my guitar.
I can just imagine what you play so get some medium ones.

Those will fit,
but why would you want such a thick strings?
They are commenly used for downtuning.

If you like it you should buy them though
