Does anyone know of a program that will record a video that is playing on your computer?
For example:
Im playing a Prison Break episode on my computer and want to edit pieces together. How can I record 2 seconds of the video?

FRAPS is probably the best...though you may have to change settings regarding overlaying the video.

OK, thanks. Now another question.

How do you record from VHS tapes to your PC. I have a DV camera...is there anyway to do it? I cant figure it out.

A DV camera won't do it...you'll need a video capture card. What card do you have, and what connections do you have? (yellow, red, and white? S video?)

The flash card only captures pictures onto it. The only way to put video on my camera is by recording it onto a DV tape.

I have a red/yellow/white cord to attach from the camera to my TV.

Why is it that when I record video on Fraps, and then play it back, its all flashy and laggy?
