That is possibly the greatest tone i've ever heard. Does anyone who has used or heard the amp in person know if it actually sounds like that?

I fear some post editing was done on that to make i sound better. I am strongly considering dropping my peavey for this head if it's really that good. They use the same amp on the Arch Enemy young guitar video as well, if anyone has seen it.

Sorry for double post.
I personally like the Treadplate module.

With a little tightening up i think that would sound so nice for metal.
Or even the XTC module

I would like both of those. Id have the treadpalte for rhythm, and maybe the ultra xl for everything else. The xtc sounds really nice too.

But yeah its defiantly an amp to look into. My choice of amp. I've looked at 5150's 6505's some JVMs and Other Tube Randalls. I was just looking for a nice versatile amp that could do many different tones. This is defiantly the amp for versatility.

Too be honest, I think that was crappy tone. It kinda sounded like a metal zone. No, It sounded exactly like a metal zone@ Way crispy and dull. There was no warmth at all.

The 1086 with the Mid boost on sounded the best to my ears
Framus Cobra
Marshall JCM 900
peavey 5150

I own a Randall RM100.

They do sound like that.
Edit: That demo seems to be quiet. The amp sounds less fuzzy/muddier as it gets louder.
Signatures are overrated.

8 month old thread... but that demo sounds closer to my SL+ module than my UltraXL.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
