Ok hi UG! Thanks for taking the time to read this. My problem is pretty simple. Currently I plug my guitar into my foot pedal then unto my computer with a 1/4 to 1/8 jack converter thingy. I already knew it wouldn't sound very well and when i play yea it doesn't sound good at all. I can kinda make out the "sound" that i usually get from just using my amp but its really messy and kinda grungy sounding. my question is, what can i do to enhance my sound or to get a muchbetter sound like I would if I were to plug my guitar into my amp? I really have no clue and I'm frustrated. Thanks for helping me out in advance!

buy a cheap plug in software program and an interface. easiest and cheapest would be the line 6 toneport ux1 or ux2. comes with the interface and gearbox plug in program.

Yes.

Also.... always use less gain than you think you'll want to have on the recording.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com
