so a while ago my bassist came in to practice with a cool sounding riff, and i played over it and we ended up with a very funk- sounding song

i have nothing against it, but its not the sound we want for our band, so we kinda scrapped it

and today i came up with a riff that would fit very well into the song and i think with the right drums and vocal melody it could end up sounding very much like the sound we want, more just hard rock/blues/classic rock

so i was wondering if anyone who has a digitech rp250 could tell me how to get a good tone for that

thanks in advance

Take a look on the digitech website, there is a place for people to post their presets, look for a red hot chili peppers one and there you go

EDIT: Try this one out http://www.digitech.com/soundcomm/guitar_view_patch.asp?productid=226&patch_id=10695
